50 hour Yin Yoga training

We are totally delighted to be able to offer a new 50 hour Yin Yoga training at the gorgeous Gare des Glaciers in Chamonix Mont Blanc. This brand new course is the perfect compliment to any 200hr YTT training.   

Devised with and facilitated by senior teacher Jess Dezaux - whom many past graduates of the MY 200 hour programme will have met already - we have come together to offer an inspiring and in-depth training programme designed to advance both your teaching skills and personal practice of Yin Yoga. We will also be joined on the course by a dear friend and brilliant acupuncturist Sean Cleere, who will be with us to talk about Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Elements theory and meridian lines.

Now hugely popular the world over, Yin Yoga has a unique and profound effect on the body, encouraging mobility, flexiblity, and inner stillness. Through continuous practice, we create space for self enquiry, connection and healing.

Run over 6 days, this course aims to deliver practical skills in teaching Yin Yoga and how to incorporate elements of Yin into regular classes. But also demands that each student show up willing to grow, change and open to the possibility of finding ones true dharma or purpose in life.

- Yin teaching practice

- massage techniques and working with essential oils

Our daily schedule will run as follows;

9-11am - morning Yin Yoga practice, meditation, pranayama

11-11.15 - break

11.15 - 13.15 - morning workshop

13.15-14.30 lunch

14.30-16.30 afternoon workshop

16.30-16.45 break

16.45-18.45 evening Yin Yoga practice, meditation, pranayama 

A complete, take home training manual will be provided. Students are required to bring their own yoga mats and a strap with them to the course.

Our teachers...

Jess has been teaching Yin for 10 years under the direction of Bernie Clarke. Furthering her studies in yogic philosophy, massage, ayurveda and bhuddist studies, Jess has taken the essence of these teachings and developed a style of yin teaching designed to shift and challenge the practitioner to deepen their experience of yoga. Through her numerous workshops and immersions, she has ascertained a diverse and extensive portfolio of Yin knowledge and now dedicates much of her practice and trainings towards a Yin style that facilitates transformation and deep healing. 

Mariza has been teaching teachers for 7 years now and finds her greatest joy seeing others acquire the skills to go and sprinkle yoga love around the world.  For Mariza, the essential life elements of inspiration and motivation lie in pushing limits, learning new skills and bringing people together to further their own journeys of self discovery...This offering is new, exciting and also challenging and Mariza cannot wait to get started.

Since qualifying as an acupuncturist in 1997, Sean has been taking his needles all around the world. After working with hundreds of tsunami survivors in Sri Lanka and trafficked women in South India, he has developed a simple but highly effective way of working with clients to gain maximum benefits from minimal intervention. Sean brings to the training a wealth of information and learning about TCM and five elements combined with a deep, personal understanding of the benefits of a regular yoga practice
