Mariza Yoga teacher training has moved online
“The online TT course allowed me to fulfil my dream of becoming a yoga teacher whilst looking after my 2 small children at home. For anyone who needs a more flexible course structure than the classic 3 weeks onsite intensive course this works very well!”
Since the global corona outbreak this year, Yoga Alliance has given special dispensation for all courses to be held online.
With this in mind, the next Mariza Yoga teacher training starts this summer.
We currently have two formats.
Teacher training option 1 runs for two weeks from July 18 - 31st
Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays we have class from 8h - 14h and then from 15.30-18.30
Tuesdays and Wednesdays, class runs 8h-14h and then from 20h - 21h30
This is followed by a 'physical' week in Chamonix from 4-10 September
Price including accommodation £2300
Option 2 runs for three weeks from July 18 - 31st.
As above, with an additional third week from Monday August 17-22
Extra hours with option two will be made up in the form of teaching practice, independent yoga practice, written work, class plans and feedback sessions with Mariza
Price without accommodation £2000
The content rests the same as always and continues to be approved by Yoga Alliance. More info on content and the Mariza Yoga vision can be found here

What the April graduates had to say;
“I was a little skeptical about how much I would get out of a TT course via a Videocall only format but this course has exceeded all my expectations! Mariza teaches clearly and carefully, and effortlessly balances demonstration and practice of poses with a more structured sitting down class approach. In the two weeks of the online course we have covered yoga poses, anatomy, the breath, yoga philosophy, teaching practice and multiple other subjects and I feel well-equipped to start teaching over the summer months despite not having had any onsite training. Mariza delivered the entire course smiling and encouraging us along the way, and was completely unfazed by having to adapt her teaching methods to the online space. I highly recommend this course.”
